It's been a long time

I've been away from the Oak Island for a long time so as per the namesake, I thought it was time to revisit it.  It's been a pretty fucked up couple of years to say the least, both good, bad and everything in between, which I'll be catching up on(possibly) over the next few posts.
I've always found writing about things to be both cathartic and enlightening so for my own selfish reasons I'm going to get back to it a bit.  My joys, misery and musings may be entertaining or create utter boredom.  I can't judge that, I'm only able to contribute to it.  Until then...
