Been a busy few weeks between the holidays, business and poker and it will continue to be for a little while. Not much time for this unfortunately.
I got in about 8000 hands of PLO8 this month and put up some good numbers. Even with a huge downswing and another small one, I still managed to be up 10 buyins. I would have preferred it closer to 15, but still no complaints. I have a ton of HH's that I'd like to put up. Some good play and asome awful play. I learned quite a bit I feel. I've gained alot from studying equity on the flop with a range of hand scenarios. So important. My FT bankroll has creeped into some unchartered territory. It's exciting. I haven't tilted it away yet! Maybe I won't this time. CUbbies actually asked me about that once. How much I've pulled. He was surprised by the answer. Right now I'm about $1,100 in the black for online. Last time I was at that point, I blew it in about 2 hours.
Been playing phone tag with my landlord(business) for about 2 weeks now and it's really starting to get annoying. He has a barn available that I really want to rent, but he was asking a really stupid price for it that really isn't relavent to the areas economy. It's about twice the price of anything comparable. Either he didn't like my offer, is completely inept or both. I know they'd like me to get the space, but I'm not going to saddle myself with another huge lease. The days of $16+K a month rent still weighs heavily on my mind.
It'll be next week for sure before I get to anything else on here. Have a 40+ hour work weekend coming up, little time for anything else.

Runnin Good
Since my awful downswing over a week ago, I've been running pretty well. Since my downswing, I'm up over 12 buyins in about 5000 hands of $25 PLO8. Cards have been fair, but I feel that I've been playing much better. Picking better spots to push, making better decisions on the flop and value betting everything has made a huge difference. I'm pretty happy overall though, my Full Tilt bankroll is higher than it has ever been(at least that I remember) and my combined bankroll(between Full Tilt, Pokerstars and Ultimate Bet) is higher than it's been in over 3 years.
I wish I had learned the discipline I have now a few years back. I haven't had a huge blow up in months. I'm sure I'll spazz off a couple of hundred sometime soon, but even then it shouldn't be too bad.
I think my next plan is to play a series of $20 HU S&G. I'm not sure if they'll be specifically PLO8 or if I'll add some Horse in there too. I haven't been playing many HU S&G lately, so I'm looking forward to it.
I feel like I could play the $20 NLHE HU too, but I might start those at $5 since I've only been working my way back into NLHE recently in cash games. It's been a long time since I played any NLHE S&G.
I did win last weekends Saturday weekly NLHE knockout tourney, so I was pleased with that. I feel like I played pretty well. The catalyst for the win was when it had gotten down to the bubble. UTG had 4 hands in a row opened for a min raise when I was in the big blind. On this occasion, the button(who was fairly loose with hand selection, but would fold to a big raise)smooth called UTG's min raise. I look down and have 910h's. Since we all have about the same, I decide this is a good time to shove, figuring UTG would have to have a HUGE hand to call here. I figured the button wasn't too strong and doubted he'd call. Well, UTG calls w/ AQd's. Flop came 5hKd5s, turn 5d, river 10d. Boom. Doubled up and took a massive chiplead into the final table. I was at 18K to the next highest at 8500. At one point it got as close as 12K to my 20K, but I started to destroy it after that. Shortly, when 4 handed, I was about 45k to average of 9 or so. Was really happy with the manner that I played, applying pressure at the correct time, making some good reads and my overall confidence.
I've got a ton of hands I'm mulling for posting in here. Some great decisions, bad decisions and frustrating situations that occur. I've been taking random, but common scenarios that are encountered and running them through twodimes to get a general idea of EV. It really does make a huge difference. I've been able to find areas where I was in much worse shape than I had assumed, but also several situations where I was much stronger than assumed. Not basing anything on any one's specific hands, but general ranges.
Been working on a website for my business and I'm pretty happy with it so far. Even with no real design experience and very little access to graphics programs, I'm happy with how well it's been coming along. At this point, I'm just uploading images, having just finished the final page templates. Don't think I'll end up linking it here at this point though, too much personal info. IDK.
My ugh hand of the day. Drawing dead from the get go. I've hardly played any .5/1 5 card, usually play it when doing paperwork. I really prefer 1/2 and 2/4(did take a stab at 3/6 with minor success, played a little too loose at first, but then evened things out).

A new day
So I think my slide is finally over. Atleast I hope it is. After mulling the sessions of the past few days, I realized where some errors that I made were, while also adjusted my approach a bit. I just get so frusterated I think because of the combined swing size. Four of my biggest pots, that I was a serious favorite in(better than 3 to 1), added up to more than a $300 swing. I was down 8 buyins in 3 days. That's including some bad play. Had I been playing better in general, I think I may have been able to cut it to 4-5 buyins.
My primary error(s) revolved around redraws. Or more accurately, lack of redraws. A couple of my cripplers didn't have the back up that I'd have liked and a shouldn't have been playing them so aggressively. I got myself into this position by playing some weaker A2 & A3 hands a bit too fast. Because of this I ended up in a couple of bigger pots with no backup, which means getting quartered far too often.
Today went much better overall. Just played 1 table PLO8 and 1 NLHE and both went pretty well. It was kinda funny on the NL table, after awhile I couldn't get any action. Several reraises in the BB against button steals, only showing down the nuts, a couple of value calldowns and bets, and a little trickery lead to me not getting any action. Basically no one wanted to play me except with big hands. It was aknowledged by 2 people even. Pretty funy. I didn't really do anything extrordinary, but did get good cards which enabled me to put my A game together.
I was much happier with th way I played PLO8. First thing I did was slowed down. First and foremost were my hands w/no redraws. Instead of trying to force anything, spent more time value betting, trying to keep weaker hands in the pot. I started to slow down a little and floated my bigger draws a little more and waited until they were closer locks both ways and I think it was just as profitable. I think it worked because I would then float some of my huge made hands, getting more value out of them on the turn and river.
I was focusing alot on pot control and bet sizing. I often open pot raise with some lesser holdings, stuff like A369ss, in position. Or big hands like AA2Kds. The reason I do it is to build a pot. Occasionally my goal is to isolate, but mostly to build a pot. This is a good thing and a bad thing. The good aspects are obvious, bad are expensive. If you didn't get that part, I'm saying you find yourself involved in big pots often with bad hands. I started to be as aware of that as possible today.
I also discovered a new passion of mine, a deadly weapon, the preflop minimum raise. That's right, the preflop minimum raise. It is a powerhouse in $25PLO8. It accomplishes so much. It:
Builds a pot
Helps control a pot
^Doesn't build the pot too fast
Helps define opponents hands
Helps trap laggy players
My goal is to build a pot. I do like to control it also, so when I want it to get big quickly, I can. The min raise helps accomplish this. The same players who'll call a pot size raise w/crap will call the min raise. The rocks who'll fold to a pot size raise w/crap will fold to a min raise. When the rock reraises you, you're not nearly commited w/your crap hands. When the laggy guy reraises, you are commiting fewer chips when you call him or are able get a good size bet in when you re-pop it. I'm going to see how my success with it continues. The preflopn min raise can have so much meaning, or none at all. It's confusing.

Awful
I swear Full Tilt hates me right now. Hates me I tell ya. I'm just running so goddamn awful, it's ridiculous. If I get it all in a massive favorite, I lose. And of course it's not little pots, they're always for 3+ buyins. 4 instances today, I got it all in on the turn w/my opponents needing 1 out, 2 outs(twice) and 3 outs, and I got stacked.
Then there are the 1/4's. How many times can someone be heading towards a scoop, then end up getting quartered? It's just got me so frusterated. I feel like I'm playing well, but having some awful sessions. I've been staying close to even over the past few days, luckily. Every session starts off the same.
Get in as a favorite.
Lose.
Work my way back up.
Get quartered a couple of times.
Bang my head on keyboard.
Work my way back up.
Repeat.
Repeat.
Breakeven.
If I get all in w/top set and nut low redraw against a nut flush draw w/weak redraw, I lose to the flush and get quartered. If I flop the nut flush draw, w/ straight draw and nut low draw against middle two pair or middle set, I miss completely. Lately, it seems to be runner runner jack jack that does me in. Ten ten has also been a culprit.
Just venting.
A "pro" at the table was screaming about this hand.

Guy was just an asshole though. Two people ended up leaving because of him. It's too bad there are those that act like that.

For any 5 Card Draw players, this might be of interest. It's a fairly basic concept, but one that can be used profitably. Many situations occur where a bluff is likely. Be aware of these situations and learn to take advantage of them, as in the case below.

There's a chance that he does have a big hand here, but not likely. He's going to improve to a 5 card hand less than 20% of the time. He will pair occasionally, but usually when an opponent pairs(J's or lower), he doesn't bluff(bet), but checks. I don't know why, but this is very common. A check right behind is the best route here.
To make a profit here, you only need to be correct in calling 1 in 3 times to show a profit. He's going to miss the draw more than 1 in 5, so when he's betting(everything is read dependent), 4 of 5 times he is likely bluffing. Say he did pair a high card like an A or K and decided to bet this. You could drop it down to 3 of 5. Even if it were at 2 of 5. That means he's still bluffing 40% of the time. You only need to be right 33%.
Now, I'd say I make these calls 5 or 6 times out of 100, because they don't present themselves too often. It all depends on the players at the table. If there is a 4 straight or flush raiser at the table, the likelyhood of the situation increases. Against these players I'll occasionally call down with as little as AK.

Getting Value
One thing I've been focusing on, regardless of the game, is getting extra value out of the last round of betting. I'm trying to squeak out as many little extra bets where I can, sometimes changing a losing session into a winning session because of it. The idea is simple. If I feel there's a good chance I have the best hand, NOT the nuts though, I make sure to bet my hand. Or raise a bettor.
It so simple that it seems stupid to focus on it. But in reality, it's not stupid or simple. MANY, many players will check/call or check/fold the best hand on the river, especially when OOP. A scare card hits the river and OF COURSE! It had to have hit the opponent who was calling. You check the river, villian bets/bluffs, you fold.
OOP river bets should not be feared. If nervous, fire a typical value/please call me type bet on the river. Only three things can happen. 1. Villian folds. 2. Villian calls(not a bad thing will value betting, EVER) 3. Villian raises. One and two are obviously desired results, but three you don't like. It's really not so bad though. His raise tells you you're beat and you don't have to put anything more in(not always the case in Limit). With this bet, you've controlled how much you will win, or lose.
When you check the river here, only two things can happen. 1. Villian checks 2. Villian bets. When the villian checks, you just lost value. When the villian bets, you are now forced to act with less information. Villian value bets/bluffs the pot here, how comfortable are you with calling?
Another opportunity is like the one below. After everyone has had an opportunity to act on the river and you feel there is a strong chance that you have the best hand, but far from the nuts, at many tables it's possible to slip a small value raise in. It requires some familiarity of the players to be successful.

The .75 bet seems just as weak as the previous .25's. I'm thinking either AQLX or A5XX for chinch4. The rest probably have something similar here. There is a chance chinch4 hit the 8(weakly) or had AA, or that one of the callers had AA, but I don't think so. Chinch4 hitting the 8 is the biggest fear. Reason AA is less likely is because it is almost always raised preflop, any permutation of it even. I've got K's up and have had the opportunity to see everyone act on the river. Fold, call or raise?

Some PLO8 hands
I thought I'd post a few hands. Some I'm not sure that I played ideally. Others piss me off to no end. The last are simply brags. I've been pretty readless in my play. Raising/limping monster ace hands. Raising/limping monster draw hands. Raisng absolute air.

With the low draw as backup popping up on the turn, should I be betting this with a J high flush? Would he have raised an A or K high flush draw here?
I figure if he has a Q and flush draw he's raising, but can't figure out if he's smooth calling here with a monster draw or just floating me. His check behind me pretty much gave ending to the story, so the river was pretty straightforward. IIfI'm in position here, I think I'm betting about $3 OTT and potting the river. I'm thinking I took the safe route OOP. Curious though.
This next hand has me frusterated for a couple of reasons.

Reason #1- Lately I've been pushing these hands incredibly hard, and getting stacked. I'm still pissed I didn't raise the flop.
Reason #2- How the hell does he call this river? Hadn't shown down air & nut lows on big bets yet. Every big bet was either nut, nut/nut or nut/2nd nut.
I figured he was big here, so waited to see the turn before putting dow the hammer.

PokerTracker
I've been meaning to touch on this for months. If you don't have pokertracker, get it. It's a must for any serious player. It's got some incredible features. I swear that everytime I use it, I discover something new. One of the biggest assets is that it shows +/-$ per position. I knew for a while that I'd been spewing from the SB because my VP$P was too high(upper %40's in 6 max), but I didn't realize how bad it was until I found the money per position tab. Over a little more than 10K hands, I was down almost $300! WTF! That's a ridiculous sum to have to make up from the other positions. Couple that with about $100 down in the BB and the rake, I don't know how I was in the black. It certainly does make sense as to why I wasn't gaining ground to quickly. If I'd only had rakeback then.
The other feature, which I just found last week, is actually something that I'd been asking Full Tilt for in the FullTilt Forum a few months back. It's an auto hand replayer. It takes any hand played and shows how the action went down at the table, with percentages available for each street. It's sooo much better than just reading a HH. Now I go through at find hands that I lost big on and replay them. Alot are just plain old badbeats, but I've found many that were played absolutely horribly. The replayer makes it even that much more obvious. If you haven't discovered it, check it out.
Playing a little more 5card on Pokerstars again. Hadn't played in a bit because of a nasty cooler run, but also renewed interest in other games. I swear the 1/2 game is easier than the .5/1 with my playing style. I'm able to pick up many more uncontested pots and have fewer people targeting my BB in 1/2. Makes a big difference. Granted, when someone contests me, I'm usually behind, but when I lose a pot here it's usually $3max where when I win it's usually $6min. 1 win in 3 will break even or more, about average for most underdog %'s. That's why those extra blinds are so important.
Also signed up for UltimateBet for rakeback and some new games. I sorta like the CrazyPineapple game, still trying to figure it out. It's hard though because there's rarely a cash game running and the play chip games will teach the basics, but nothing else. Hard to learn any more advanced stuff. They also have 2-7 and A-5 triple draw. This has been a little more active. I definitely prefer to play these games HU I've found(along with just about anything now except 5card draw) because of my style of play. I play my best when it's a marginal vs. marginal situation. The NLHE games are pretty fun to poke around in too. So soft.
Time to go deal with leaves. Ugh.

Tooooooo busy
I better get caught up here, haven't posted anything for quite some time(sorry JB). Between work, family and poker, I've had little time for anything else. Even my Forum participation has been lacking. I see a few threads that I want to get into, but then just don't have the time.
I've started to get back into NLHE again and it has definitly been fun. I've been digging through alot of the archived 2+2 small stakes material and have absorbed some great stuff. Some new, some old and alot of refreshing of idea's, but very helpful for sure. Coupling that with my increased player reading ability which has grown fairly strong, I've had some great success.
Constant aggression has been the key. Almost no limping preflop, reraises in position, postflop reraises w/air, and river valuebets have all contributed to a 20bb/100 in 25NL. I know it's micro, which makes it much easier to control, but I feel good about it regardless.
I had an awful PLO8 session last night multitabling $25's. I was down 4 buyins! I never drop 4 buyins for crissake. But I couldn't buy a draw. One player in particular was frusterating the hell out of me. No matter what, he was in a hand. I'd raise in the CO w/AA310s, he'd call in the SB. Flop would come 269. I'd have aces, nut low draw and nut flush draw. We'd get it all in on the flop. He'd have 668Qrainbow. Turn and river would come runner runner JJ. Not just once did a similar scenario occur, but countless. No matter what, he'd be involved, and his absolute garbage hands would turn into the nuts. Value betting would turn into counterfeiting. It was endless and excrutiating.
Another hand that I got super pissed about, and unfortunately kept me at the tables longer(thinking I could catch up because they were awful and I was running cold), was something that was mind boggling to me. How does he make this call. It's barely correct, but he doesn't know that. 1 of 4 buyins.

Hectic
I have to say it's been a pretty hectic month. With my wife and daughters birthday's a week apart and 2 big shows immediately following Labor Day, I've had little time it seems. Or maybe just finding other things to focus on in my free time, IDK.
The birthday's went over quite well. My daughter had a blast and so did her friends it seemed. No cooking this year, all catered, so that was nice for a change. I actually had the chance to meet some of her friends families. Good to know what they're like as after school visits will be increasing. The fact that she starts Kindergarten this year still amazes me.
Been having a lot of fun playing poker recently. I feel like alot of different aspects of my game are starting to click. If been having some good success again in Horse, cash and tourney, and have been doing great in 5 card draw. I've been able to fund my Full Tilt bankroll from my stars account, strictly from 5 card draw play. Speaking of Horse, I've been able to maintain 1st place on the leaderboard for quite awhile. Not much of a cushion, but if I play well in the last 2 weeks, i think I'll win overall. Hopefully I don't blow it like I did in season 2 of the MBJ NLHE series. Had it locked, then spit the bit my last 2. had to settle for second. I don't want to do that again.
I'm finally reaching a bankroll to be happy with, atleast when combined from both sites. I hope I don't blow it up again, but atleast at the moment I don't see that happening. I've had a couple of situations where I could have easily started back down that road, but I was able to compose myself quite easily.
The forum mod. work has been going well. It's seemed to have settled down considerably. Some good discussion has poked it's head out here and there and overall it's been entertaining. It lead me to addictivegames.com, which is like crack to me. I love the miniputt, bloons and pacman. Fun, fun.

Mini Vacation
Just got back from a business trip/vacation in Maine and New Hampshire with the family. It was successful in both regards for a change. At my show I had to stress myself, of course, by spending over $4K before I even took in a dollar. I knew that I'd be able to turn that $4K into atleast $7K eventually, but preferably immediately. Funny enough, the purchase didn't produce anything at the time, but I ended having a great anyways and now have two great additions to my inventory. There was so much killer stuff at the show, it's nice to be part of it.
Took my daughter to StoryLand in NH. She had a blast. The coolest soon to be 5 year old ever. Sort of like a grown up kid. Likes to do kids stuff and has a vivid imagination, but doesn't complain and whine constantly and is patient. Strange actually.
PLO8 and LO8 have been driving me nuts lately. I've had a nastry streak of backdoor hands killing me on my good hands and long stretches of completely missed boards. If I'm able to be counterfeited, it happens. Huge draws have been missing on big allins. The most annoying was a hand where I had a wrap with the nut low draw, get it all in on the flop against A high and the nut low draw and lose to a runner runner 2 pair. Ugh.
Did have a good 1/2 Horse session and a hand I was really pleased with. I think it was actually an advanced play(nothing crazy). Curious what the response will be to it. Also decided to play some NLHE for a change. Only was able to play for about 1/2 hour, but it felt good. Made some solid reads and good laydowns, ended up 3/4 of a buyin at 25NL. Micro's I know, but it's been a loooong time. Here's the Stud hand from Horse: I had slow played aces earlier until 5th street, so I thought I'd run it again.

God I'm getting sick of these. The most frusterating thing is how EXTREMELY bad this guy was, yet he kept hitting all these miracles on everyone.

Horse
So I decided to buy into last nights $4K Guaranteed Horse MTT and was pleased to come in 8th. Was semi short and picked up AA2c and pushed it hard. Got called by an 84Ad and they spiked a diamond on 7th, busto. Overall I was pretty happy with my play, a few minor errors. Some awful badbeats were survived, I had my rolled fives cracked by a miracle straight by a short stack. Had I won that hand, it would have put me close to the chiplead at the time and really allowed me to open up my game. Instead of bullying the table, I was forced to wait for some hands, but I managed. Not a huge profit margin, I think I won $98+, minus my buyin, but still happy with the results and I think the potential for further success is there.
I had 1 massive pot when I was short stacked around the 1st break, just after, where I ended up right back in it. It was during O8, a massive family pot to start out, so it was a strictly pot odds hand. Board on the river is 57J77 and I'm the in the SB and check, aggressor(the ultimate donator) in the BB pauses for a bit and bets. Donk 2 next to him, pauses and calls. I have 1010JQ and am getting about 20 to 1 odds to call. I think Donk 1 has either AA or a busted low draw and Donk 2 on a weak pair and busted low draw. Their reaction to the 2nd 7 lead me to believe they didn't have it. Turns out Donk 1 had AK and same for Donk 2. Went from 1K to 4.5K that hand and I was right back in it.

I love the royals
I'd found that preflop raising w/this bunch was not the best play and I could always get value out of them post flop on most good hands(bluffing is out of the question!). On this occasion I wish I had. I think I got good value out of it though postflop.

Still running well
I've never found a game to be as profitable at lower stakes as 5 card. To not make 10BBs/100 is unusual. I passed along a general game theory to an aquaintance and he's having as much success with it as I am.
With my overall success in Horse MTT's, I think I should really focus on the guaranteed tourneys on Full Tilt. I think I could run a ITM % of 30 at minimum. I've been able to discipline myself to be successful I believe. Going to have to see how that works out.
The forum has been going smoothly for almost a week now. What a difference, There's been alot of activity with some good discussion. Hopefully its progress will continue.
Overall it's been a quiet weekend. I did play in a good homegame on Friday night and as usual my #1 villian at the table sucked out on me again. Everytime I play this guy he sucks out. If I get in behind he wins, if he gets in behind and dominated, he wins.
2 nearly back to back hands killed me. We play little S&G's and the blinds had gotten real high 3 handed. In the SB, I push him w/KQ, he calls w/K7c. Flop comes 886 rainbow. Turn 9. Of course what peels on the river?
3 hands later, I'm now short so I push w/67s in the sb and he calls in the BB w/A2. Flop comes JQ4. Turn 6, yeah! But wait, there's still the river. And of course, what does that bring? Ugh. Live poker is rigged.

Downswings
I like to read some of the blogs of the high stakes players and recently Brian Townsend discussed his current downswing of $3,000,000. That is utterly amazing. He seems annoyed by it, but not distraught in anyway. I would be going insane. He says that his Full Tilt account is down to only $150,000 and not playable because it's short. If I had $150K to kick around w/online I'd be ecstatic. Just another example of how far my poker world is from the big guys.
If $3mil. is a bearable loss, I wonder how much he's really won?
If $3mil. is a bearable loss, I wonder how much he's really won?
Cooler's
I hate hands like this. I think capping was the correct play given his weak draw. Amazingly perfect for him though. 3 hands later had an underset outdraw my set of aces. Ugh. I guess I can't complain, if people didn't play as weakly, it wouldn't be so profitable overall.

Leaps
I think the FT Forum is going to start taking some positive leaps forward. There's been alot of behind the scenes work recenlty which should lead to some quality changes. Next step is to get a few more higher level players involved. People who think on the next level, not just gambooolers.
I must say, I do still love to play 5 card draw. It's such easy money. I think people sit down and play, thinking they know how, and just gamble away. Constantly people limp with shorts or OESD's/flush draw's, call raises and miss. Or when they do hit they don't get paid off because it's obvious that they actually made a big hand. Bleeding chips w/horrible odds and no value when they do improve. Thanks for the donations.

10%
After two years of participation in the Full Tilt Forum, I was asked to become a moderator. I was pretty happy with the idea and was good feeling appreciated. The duties don't consist of alot, but I think it will serve me well in the long run.
I think the primary reason I was chosen was because I generally don't get into arguements with everyone and am not constantly insulting everyone else. It seems like some people like to insult others, just for the sake of it. There are a couple that are more witty or clever about it, but the result is the same. Pointless? I think so. Just another form of bullying. Don't know when bullying lost it's appeal, but I think it's merits were gone by the time I hit drinking age.
Also, I've been pretty successfull in Forum tourneys which leads some to think I can play well, thus having something meaningful to say. I think I have the ability to play well, but am not yet a good player. To me that takes consistency, patience and wise bankroll management. None of which I've conquered yet. I'd say I have atleast any 2 of the 3 working well about 60% of the time. During this time, I'm usually winning, but not alot. On the occasions where I'm running all 3 aspects, I figure about 30% of the time, I feel like I am killing the table. This isn't a rush of hands that I'm talking about, it's just being completely dialed in. Getting max value out of good hands, minimum losses from bad hands, great post flop decisions. Great post flop decisions, my god how important that is, really another topic in and of itself.
Then there is the 10%. Oh that 10%. I absolutely hate that 10%. That 10% is where I blow up. That 10% almost always wipes out my excellent 30%, plus some. Happens about once a week or 2(used to be more frequent). I take some badbeats, nothing tiltworthy, but bad. Then I take a couple of more. The it hits like a fucking sledgehammer. The TILT. I start playing crappy hands way more aggressively, bleeding units, chasing horribly, just to get that fish who took my money several times by playing horribly and getting lucky. Somehow I convince myself that if I play badly, I'll do him the same injustice. Doesn't work. All that I've done is destroyed my hard earned bankroll.
I've gotten alot better about it, but still not there yet. Strange thing is, it rarely happens to me live. I wonder if being able to see the idiot that just handed me and others badbeats is soothing in some respect. Online the idiot doesn't have a face and will often leave quickly. Live the idiot has a face and usually sticks around. Who gave me the badbeat? That idiot there, the one with rotten teeth and 3 chins. Inside I'm pointing and laughing, outside nothing. Online idiot I'm screaming at like it means something, just becoming more irate.
Once I feel I can control it online, then maybe I'll move up my bankroll a bit. It's funny how I worry about losing a $20 hand online when it's not a big deal at all live. $20, that's funny.

What the hell am I thinking
Ahh, Oak Island and the legendary treasure of the Knights Templar. It's always fascinated me, but not sure if it's more because of the legend, or because of the incredible quest, the real tortures people will endure to find something out of most likely nothing. Driven by hope. Sort of like this blog. I wonder how many poor souls will come here hoping to find something in the nothingness. Or will there occasionally be something worthwhile in the nothingness? IDK.
